What is ACCA?
ACCA is a non-profit agency that has served the Fairbanks community since 1956. It began with a grassroots community effort to assist people needing orthopedic referrals and equipment as well as speech therapy. The agency was known as 'Alaska Crippled Children and Adults' and was associated with the Easter Seals Society. In 1998, the agency adopted a new name, 'Alaska Center for Children and Adults'. Over the years, programs for individuals with disabilities have grown with the Fairbanks community.

Our Mission
To assist in improving the lives of people with disabilites and their families by providing quality diagnostic, therapeutic, educational and referral services in conjunction with other community providers without regard to ability to pay.
